God
We believe that God, the creator and sustainer of all life, is the triune God of the Holy Bible - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is all-knowing (omnicient), all-loving (omnibenevolent), all-powerful (omnipotent), all-good (holy), and everywhere (omnipresent).
God the Father created Heaven and Earth. He is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, overflowing with lovingkindness and truth. He forgives all kinds of evil, but also upholds justice for all.
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, died on our behalf and for our sins, and was resurrected three days later. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father in glory, interceding on our behalf and will return one day to free his people and judge mankind.
The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and brings love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness and self-control. He is given as a seal and fills those who have embraced both the salvation and the reign of God.
We seek to glorify God in all we do and say.
Scripture
We believe that the Holy Bible is the living Word of God, inspired and without error. The Word of God gives us the truth upon which we are able to build a sure foundation, love through which we are formed and shaped to be like God himself, and all that is necessary for godliness.
We seek to be lead and shaped by God's Word.
Church
The Church is the primary manifestation of God on earth. It is designed to be the space where His love, truth and holiness are both displayed and enacted.
We seek to strengthen and support the Church of God through encouragement, equipping, and strengthening her members for the work of service.
people
People were made in the image of God. We sinned, and are all born in sin, but by faith we are saved. This is not something we can do on our own, but it is a gift of God. Through this gift we are made right in God's sight and are covered by Jesus perfect record. We have not yet been made perfect, but are being made more and more to resemble God as we live to give him honor and glory. When Christ returns we, like Christ, will be given new bodies and will become glorious.
We seek to be the people God wants us to be.
